Honoring Special Volunteers and Thanking All

The annual Volunteer Thank You Party on April 26 celebrated more than 250 volunteers. Their contributions strengthen the School’s sense of community and friendship, from the Board of Trustees and the Alumni Council, to the Lunar New Year Celebration and the School Fair.

Head of School Bo Lauder presented Sandra Jelin Plouffe ’93 Exemplary Volunteer Commendations to three outstanding volunteers: Matthew Annenberg ’83, P’20, P’22, Jill Zenker P’22 and Edes Powell Gilbert ’49, in absentia. The Commendation, established in memory of Sandra in 2018, recognizes those who have given extraordinary service to the School over a number of years and in a variety of roles. Bo Lauder commented, “It is wonderful to recognize and thank these three individuals who have given so much to the School.”
